A few great salad recipes and a couple of other lean and green meal ideas to enjoy!

 Baby Spinach Salad with Tuna

2.5 Cups Baby Spinach

1 Cup Marinated Mushrooms

1 Can No Salt White Tuna in Water (Drained)

1/2 Cup Fresh Salsa

2 Tbsp. Lite Champagne Vinaigrette

 Baby Spinach with Chicken Salad

2 Cups Baby Spinach

1 Can White Chicken Meat (drained)

1 Cup Marinated Mushrooms

1/2 Cup Fresh Salsa

2 Tbsp. Low Fat Roasted Red Pepper Dressing

 Butter Lettuce Salad with Grilled Shrimp & Avocado

2 Cups Butter Lettuce (Variety)

1.5 Cups Large Grilled Shrimp (Precooked - seasoned)

1/2 small Avocado, sliced

1/2 cup fresh salsa

2 Tbsp Cilantro Dressing

 Grilled Salmon Burger Patties

2 3oz Salmon Burger Patties

2 Tbsp Homemade Guacomole

4 Spinach & Cheese Stuffed Mushrooms

2 Cups Raw Broccoli/Cauliflower

2 Tbsp Roasted Red Pepper Hummus

Sautéed Turkey Meatballs with Pesto

4 Turkey Meatballs

1 Tbsp Genova Pesto

1 Cup Sliced Baby Bella Mushrooms

2 Cups Steamed Broccoli

1 Pinch Garlic Salt

1 Tbsp Freshly Shaved Parmesan Cheese

I had a post to share with you all today,

save for inserting pictures.

And then

Blogger destroyed it

It disappeared right before my eyes.

Two hours of baring my soul,

disposed of carelessly in an instant.

Funny thing is that the post was about anger.

Between just anger and misguided anger.

And here I am angry,

and justified.

So now you'll just be getting a

fashion post

  

And I'll be going to regroup.

And praying I can eloquently re-write the post.

And share what I really wanted to.

So glad I had this picture handy to make me laugh at this whole debacle.
My husband is hilarious, no?

Failure is Not an Option

I'm angry today.

Angry might be an understatement.  

I want to just lay it all out.  

Everything that is piled up inside my head and heart.

But I just can't seem to start.

I need to pray.

A lot.

I need to breath out my frustrations,

and breathe in Jesus.

It's one of those days where I can't seem to stop the downward spiral.

Failure is not an option.

I have to break free from the battle in my mind.

I need to find solace.

Late last month, my cellphone finally quit on me, which in turn led to me finally purchasing a new iPhone4S (the previous one drown in a freak-water-bottle-emptying-out-in-my-purse accident).  I'm so happy to be on instagram again, because it is such a great way to document life in pictures and stay connected with you.  My poor little point-and-shoot is feeling a bit neglected lately!
