NYC New York Color Liquid Lipshine...

and other NYC Color Beauty Must-Haves

I have been a big fan of NYC New York Color cosmetics for a while, I mean who doesn't love to get trendy products that don't break the budget!!  I was thrilled to receive this Liquid Lipshine gloss in "Nude York City" as a part of my Influenster Holiday Voxbox.  I'm always looking for quality, affordable lip glosses because I feel like I go through them so quickly!  This color is amazing - it is the perfect fleshy pink color to throw on any time for any occasion.  The best part?  It's not sticky, it stays smooth and silky on my lips without feeling like they are all gunky.

After trying this product, I had to scope out some of their new products, and there are definitely a few that I would LOVE to get my hands on!
Do you have a favorite brand for affordable cosmetics?  What are your color predictions for 2013?
I received the NYC New York Color Liquid Lipshine in Nude York City complimentary for my review as part of my Influenster Holiday VoxBox.  All opinions expressed above are my own!

The new Quaker Real Medleys Oatmeal+ is delicious!  I'm typically the bad - ice cream late night snack kind of gal, a habit I'm having to give up as a part of my commitment to reduce sugar intake, but I have to tell you - this oatmeal is the perfect swap for my late night cravings.

Easy to make, low in fat, and full of fiber and protein - sold!  I do hope they come out with a gluten-free version of these so I can indulge in them more frequently!  I tried the Summer Berry flavor, and would love to try the other flavors: Apple Walnut, Cherry Pistachio or Peach Almond.  This would make a great post-workout snack as well!

Get Into My Closet!!

1. Aster // 2. Pamelina // 3. Annalise // 4. Harper
5. Colette // 6. Becca // 7.  Casey // 8. Opal

I'm currently lusting after these shoes and can't wait to add them to my very lacking shoe collection!  The one thing I love about Sole Society - is the actual quality of their shoes - they are often made of genuine leather and suede, and still available at a reasonable price!

Which shoe above is your favorite?

Manicure Secret: Julep Maven

1. Colbie // 2. Lucy // 3. Rebel // 4. Donna

One last nail secret - and Mani Monday will officially be done! Every month I look forward to the amazing reveal of the month's Julep Maven collection.  Julep is based in Seattle (which means it has a special place in my heart to begin with).  At $19.99/box - you get more than you pay for every month - a minimum of 2 polishes + a product.  Polishes retail at $14 each, so just the two polishes put the box cost above value!  I also love that Julep Maven sends an email every month when the showroom is open - so you can opt-out or upgrade/add-on prior to being charged.  If there is one beauty box I would have a hard time giving up it would be Julep!  This month I can't wait to get my box which includes a holographic sand color and a olive green color plus two bonus products!

This post is NOT sponsored by Julep, I just love the products so much!  If you sign-up using my link above, I will receive reward credit to my account.

Manicure Secret: Neutrogena Hand Cream

It's a Mani-Monday Double Feature!!  I'm sharing another manicure secret weapon today, Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Hand Cream!  I recently started using this rich and creamy hand cream to protect my hands and nails from the harsh cold of Winter.  Now I don't leave home without it!
It's glycerin-rich formula is long-lasting and not only keeps my hands soft and moisturized, I've noticed that my nails are stronger and more conditioned as well!
The full size product retails for around $4.99, and just a little bit goes a long way!  It's also great for protecting your lips and feels silky smooth, not sticky, when applied.
Featured Products:
Julep: Polishes- Felicity & Julia, Basecoat & Glycolic Hand Scrub
Essie: Good-to-go Top Coat
Neutrogena: Norwegian Formula Hand Cream

I received free Neutrogena Hand Cream by participating in a BzzAgent Campaign, however; views expressed in this post are my own!

Manicure Secret: Kiss Nail Dress

I love a good quality spa manicure.  But not quite as much as I love a manicure that I can do at home in 10 minutes that doesn't require drying!  I am becoming quite obsessed with these gorgeous mani decals from Kiss!  With Kiss Nail Dress you just peel, apply and shape!  No drying and no top coat necessary.  They are super easy to apply:

The package comes with 28 strips, plenty for hands AND toes - yep! They even work great for pedicures!  First, size up the strips, I've found you want to go a size larger than you think fits - then peel and stick on your clean nail, smoothing upward and holding pressure to bond the adhesive.  Next, fold over the top/excess and then, using the included file, just file off the extra.  It's really that simple! I did both hands in about 10 minutes!
Check out the other great designs, which they are always updating!  You can also cut the decals to make fun designs and mix and match patterns.  Then, when you are ready to change up your nails, you just peel the decals off and rub any excess adhesive off of your nails.  No damage, no mess, its seriously one of my favorite ways to have fabulous nails!

Which Kiss Nail Dress would you like to try?
